About Magister Ekonomi Syariah

Prodi Magister Ekonomi Syariah UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau memiliki visi yang ambisius namun terukur, yaitu menjadi program studi pascasarjana yang unggul dan kompetitif di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Keunggulan ini tidak hanya diukur dari kualitas akademik semata, tetapi juga dari kemampuan untuk mengintegrasikan keilmuan ekonomi syariah dengan nilai-nilai Islam yang moderat, serta relevansi terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, visi ini tidak sekadar mengejar prestise, melainkan berorientasi pada pembentukan lulusan yang berintegritas, berwawasan luas, dan mampu berkontribusi nyata dalam membangun peradaban ekonomi yang berkeadilan.

Untuk mencapai visi tersebut, prodi ini mengemban sejumlah misi strategis. Misi pertama adalah menyelenggarakan pendidikan magister yang berlandaskan pada prinsip-prinsip keilmuan yang kuat, etika Islam yang luhur, dan metodologi penelitian yang mutakhir. Ini dilakukan melalui kurikulum yang terintegrasi, melibatkan dosen-dosen berkualitas, serta menciptakan lingkungan akademik yang kondusif untuk dialog dan inovasi. Misi kedua adalah melaksanakan penelitian yang berkualitas dan relevan dengan permasalahan ekonomi syariah kontemporer, yang hasil-hasilnya dapat menjadi rujukan ilmiah dan solusi praktis bagi industri maupun kebijakan publik.

Misi ketiga adalah melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berbasis pada keilmuan ekonomi syariah, guna memberikan edukasi dan pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Melalui berbagai program seperti pelatihan, pendampingan, dan konsultasi, prodi ini berupaya menyebarkan pemahaman yang benar tentang ekonomi syariah dan mendorong praktik-praktik ekonomi yang Islami di tengah masyarakat. Misi-misi ini secara sinergis dirancang untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya menguasai teori, tetapi juga memiliki keterampilan praktis, jiwa kepemimpinan, dan komitmen moral untuk mewujudkan sistem ekonomi yang lebih adil dan berkelanjutan.
